VBS Control

VBS Control Editor is an intuitive AI development tool, allowing for rapid development of AI behaviors for VBS3 and, through the Gears framework, other software applications. VBS Control provides full and direct control of AI and is designed to deal with both entity level behaviors as well as higher levels of abstracted behaviors such as squad, platoon or company level. VBS3

VBS3 provides a virtual training environment for land, air and sea training and mission rehearsal applications. VBS3 is the de facto standard in game-based military simulation and meets hundreds of training use cases. It interoperates with legacy simulations, protecting and extending existing investments in LVC training technologies and also new standards such as Open Source Virtual Reality (OSVR). Visit our Youtube page for more videos.

Operation Blended Warrior

BISim is proud to sponsor Operation Blended Warrior (OBW), I/ITSEC’s collaborative LVC event conducted between U.S. Department of Defense and industry. TerraTools

At I/ITSEC 2017, TerraSim, a BISim company, will demonstrate VBS Blue IG terrain generation support, powered by TerraTools. VBS Blue IG is a next gen image generator that provides whole-earth rendering technology for out-the-window and sensor scene visualization. TerraTools makes it easy to add new high-resolution terrain areas and custom data sets to VBS Blue IG. For integration with other runtimes, TerraTools also simplifies the export of correlated terrain data to many other export formats. See demonstrations at booth #2235.

Ausimtech is providing BISim with a flight simulator motion chair and platform for I/ITSEC. Ausimtech provides products and services based around cost effective, medium fidelity simulation systems suitable for training, research and development, and entertainment. Fly an Apache attack helicopter on Ausimtech and D-BOX motion cueing tech in VBS Blue IG.

Brunner is a Swiss-based manufacturer of a range of simulation products, flight training solutions, drives and motion platforms. Brunner is showcasing its VR-Motion 200 Platform for use with BISim’s F/A-18 flight simulation in VBS Blue IG. The VR-200 combines State-of-the-Art Virtual Reality technology with powerful dynamic motion enriched Virtual Training environments.

CM Labs Simulations develops the Vortex Studio software platform for simulation-based training for operators of ground-vehicles, maritime and logistics equipment. It provides capabilities for developing training simulators, mission rehearsal, serious games, virtual prototyping, and testing. Using Vortex and VBS3, CM Labs and BISim have rapidly developed a fully integrated, high-fidelity LAV driving simulator.

FoxGuard serves customers in more than 60 countries from their secure, ISO-certified, ITAR-registered facility. Providing configuration, testing, imaging, certification, integration, regulatory/export compliance and life cycle management programs, FoxGuard’s solutions are “Built for Security.” They will demonstrate their SIMITAR Flex rack-mounted computer designs and have equipped BISim’s booth with TV monitors and high-performance computers that utilize NVIDIA graphics cards for its demonstration.

SimCentric Technologies is an industry leader in the creation of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning based software applications and development tools for military simulation and synthetic environment training. SimCentric will demonstrate numerous enhancements to their flagship VBS3Fires FST Pro enabling full spectrum offensive fires, close air support and UAV vectoring capabilities with incorporation of realistic Collateral Damage Estimates and Battle Damage Assessment utilising our Ambience pattern of life generation tool. Completing this configuration is our MediaMate smart device live streaming application simulating a UAV Rover 5 ISR feed in a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) integration.
