ORLANDO, Fla. (USA) — VBS Blue IG, Bohemia Interactive Simulations’ high-performance, whole-earth image generator software, was recently integrated as part of Bugeye Technologies Inc.’s delivery of Reconfigurable Virtual Cockpit Trainers (RVCT) to the U.S. Army PEO-STRI in Orlando for evaluation as part of the Synthetic Training Environment (STE) OTA1.
Bugeye Technologies delivered multiple versions of mixed reality rotorcraft reconfigurable cockpit systems, man-in-the-loop unmanned aerial systems, and virtual reality door gunner trainers. VBS Blue IG was used to simulate a UAS sensor payload and streamed data to a AH-64 configured RVCT to provide Level-of-Interoperability 2 (LOI-2). The sensor was used to increase aircrew situational awareness and training fidelity.
VBS Blue IG is a high-performance, 3D whole-earth image generator designed to support the full spectrum of land, sea, air and space use cases for collective and individual training. VBS Blue IG’s uniquely versatile engine is able to provide new training capability for military and defense organizations to visualize and rehearse complex joint military operations anywhere in the world. It is already in use on dozens of defense industry projects ranging from VR-based flight and air crew training to multichannel simulation for JTAC/FAC training.
