At I/ITSEC 2016, BISim will showcase a range of new products, capabilities and training applications at booth #2348. These include the following demonstrations:
See how BISim is revolutionizing flight training. We’ll demonstrate an innovative VR-based F/A-18 flight simulator concept employing VBS IG powered by BISIM’s whole-earth rendering technology VBS Blue and exploiting D-Box Technologies motion solutions, the Oculus Rift CV1 for immersion and Leap Motion for cockpit interaction.
BISim will present a networked, combined arms training concept using VR technologies. Using Oculus Rift CV1 headsets for immersion and Talon motion simulator chairs, BISim will demonstrate a U.S. Army Stryker training system integrated with VBS3 on geo-specific terrain generated by TerraSim’s TerraTools 5. VBS3Fires FST, from SimCentric Technologies, will provide the close air support simulation for the training scenario. This system will be interconnected with VBS IG for multiple channel viewing and extended by VBS Blue, BISim’s whole-earth rendering technology.
See the multichannel possibilities with VBS IG and learn more about the newly released VBS IG SDK, a comprehensive IG development framework that allows developers to customize and extend virtually every aspect of VBS IG. VBS IG SDK includes a comprehensive set of tools to help developers easily configure and deploy multiple channels.
BISim will participate in and support Operation Blended Warrior, a large networked live, virtual and constructive simulation event organized by the National Training and Simulation Association, the U.S. Department of Defense and industry, by providing a correlated terrain database built with TerraTools and other TerraSim products that, combined with VBS, will be used in every Operation Blended Warrior vignette, enabling participants to simulate a wide variety of entities. BISim's VBS Gateway, which is included in VBS3 for interoperability, provides users native DIS/HLA connectivity so that any entity can be seen over networks.
