Collaborative Mission Planning CapabilitiesVBS Chalkboard Pro VBS Chalkboard for VBS3 (included standard with VBS3) is an easy-to-use interface for drawing (military) overlays. It allows military symbols to be drawn in both 2D and 3D. Drawings are saved with the VBS3 scenario and can be re-loaded by a user in the RTE. The VBS Bundle offers VBS Chalkboard Pro, featuring enhanced functionality such as collaboration capabilities, overlay export and printing capabilities, and use in the After Action Review tool. With VBS Chalkboard Pro, administrators can define layer visibility and editing rights, and users can share new drawings during the mission. VBS Chalkboard Pro also provides administrators with a real-time virtual laser pointer. VBS Chalkboard Pro enables a variety of map export and printing options. These include the ability to export maps with VBS Chalkboard Pro drawings to PDF, direct printing of a currently viewed screen or import/export of KML files. |

Valued Terrain for TrainingIncluded with the VBS3 Bundle is the Chernarus terrain, originally created for Arma 2 and updated for Bohemia Interactive’s award-winning open world survival game DayZ. The Chernarus terrain spans 236 km² and offers a detailed and varied terrain, with a mix of forests, hills, mountains, shorelines, urban areas, rural villages, a dense network of roads, harbors, and marshlands fed by small creeks. In future releases of the VBS3 Bundle, BISim plans to offer additional terrains. |
