Farnborough, UK - We’re proud to announce that our flagship products, VBS4 and VBS Blue IG, have been selected as the Defence Virtual Simulation (DVS2) solution for the UK Ministry of Defence (MOD). BISim, as the Prime Contractor and Design Authority, previously successfully delivered DVS1 utilising VBS3 from 2016 to 2022.
BISim will deliver DVS2 as a managed service and MOD will benefit from capability enhancements with a regular cycle of software updates for this 5-year enterprise licence contract.
DVS2 is the UK MOD’s common virtual simulation tool, providing interoperable, accessible and deployable virtual simulation capability across the MOD. The DVS2 capability will enable simulated activity across all levels of training, as well as operations planning and rehearsal, decision support, and research and development.
